Las Estrellas de Vancouver

A thrilling musical collaboration was held between Las Estrellas de Vancouver and the Mariachi Women’s Festival in Los Angeles. Taking the lead from festival Director Dr. Leonor Xóchitl Pérez, Canadian Director Michelle Cormier launched mariachi women’s music concerts in Vancouver in 2015. This 2017 Canadian concert was yet another exciting celebration of women in mariachi music in a city where it was least expected.
